Food banks forced to cut back as demand grows

CANADA – Several Canadian food banks have had to reduce what goes into hampers because of increased demand. Food Banks Canada’s 2024 HungerCount report shows that use was up by six per cent compared to last March and up by 90 per cent in the last five years.
